Project description
The work of the Ph.D. Fellow vil Mainly består of research on endogenous and Exogenous Factors Determining the shoot regeneration in vitro som del af forskningsprojekt ‘Laboratory of Plant Innovation’ .Dette projekt er en coop ration mellom Consulting Company AgroTech och två Departments KU-LIFE.
Tissue culture ( in vitro culture) compris nowadays a whole range of techniques and ice essentialism for basic studies of cell genetics, enabling the use of biotechnological metoder og har interesse inden for mass propagation. Some plant species have tried som särskilt recalcitrant in shoot regeneration.Således, the PhD Project Explorer Factors Determining regeneration success.
The PhD Project vil include studies on:
- Development of a screening system by Studying the impact of plant growth regulators on shoot regeneration of recalcitrant Campanula species.
- Light intensity and quality vid regeneration of contra thing Kalanchoe species.
- Embryo rescue og-kultur.
The PhD fellow vil arbejde closely med senior staff og andre PhD studenter inom området. Projektet kommer in close coop ration med Horticultural Industries in Denmark, men der bliver mulighed for good deltar International Cooperation as well.
The appointee skulle have Qualifications indenfor følgende områden:
- Background in Horticultural or Agricultural science, plant biotechnology, biology or related area.
- Good knowledge inden Horticulture or agriculture, plant physiology, genetics, experimental design and statistics.
- Experience med tissue culture and biotechnological metoder vil være en advatage and lawyers with knowledge and expertise in this field bliver preferred.
- Previous erfaring med forskning, analytiske work and data analysis vil være en advatage

Key Criteria for the assessment of kandidater
- A master’s degree related to the subject area of the project
- The grade point average achieved
- Professional Qualifications relevant till Ph.D. program
- Previous publications
- Relevant Work Experience
- Other professional aktiviteter
- Language skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Marks obtained under det första året of study on the master program (only relevant for Applicants Applying for a 4-year scholarship)
Formal krav
The position finns for a 3-year Period for Applicants holding a relevant Master’s degree or for a 4-year Period for Applicants som går allerede er enrolled or accepted være enrolled to one of the Faculty’s master’s programmer.

Terms of Employment
