Growth habit: Semi spreading, medium early in maturity (180-220 days), stem-tip-hairiness medium, pigmentation medium. Lodge resistant.
Height and branching: Medium height (110-125 cm), nodes to first fruiting branch 4-7, monopodia 0-3, sympodia 15-18, medium, semi-erect.
Foliage: Foliage medium dense, medium green, medium hairy, and nectaried, leaf length 12.5, width 11.0, stalk 10.5 cm.
Flower: Flowering medium early and of medium duration. Flower medium, nectaried, creamy, with intermediate calyx, pollen creamy, stamen medium dense, and semi-erect, stigma height medium (15-20 mm) with short exsertion (3-5 mm).
Boll: Size medium, 4-5 locked, roundish, wide at lower mid, beak short, finely pitted and gossypol normal, opening good. Bolls/plant 20-25, boll weight 3.5 g, length 5.0, width 3.5, peduncle 1.5 cm, bracteole normal.
Yield kg/ha: Seed cotton 2500.0
Fiber: GOT 33.5%, Staple length 27.5 mm, Micronaire 4.2, Strength 94.6 tppsi, Uniformity 48.3%.
Seed: Seed Index 8.0 g, size medium, length 8.0, width 5.0 mm, oil 18.2 %. Seeds fuzzy, grayish white.
Leaf curl virus (CLCV): Susceptible.
Variants: Habit varies with space, sowing and stem damage.
Leading characters: Shahbaz 95 medium tall growing variety with medium green, medium dense foliage, flower nectaried, pollen color creamy, boll shape roundish with short beak and medium early in maturity, opening good. Seed fuzzy, grayish white.
