Growth habit: Semi spreading to spreading, early in maturity (150-180 days), stem-tip-hairiness medium, pigmentation medium. Lodge resistant.

Height and branching: Medium tall (150-200 cm), nodes to first fruiting branch 4-7, monopodia 2-6, sympodia 15-20, short to medium, spreading.

Foliage: Foliage density medium, size small to medium, light green, medium hairy and nectaried, leaf length 11.0, width 14.0, stalk 10.0 cm.

Flower: Flowering medium early and of medium duration. Flower medium, nectaried, creamy, with intermediate calyx, pollen yellow, stamen medium dense, and semi-erect, stigma height medium (10-15 mm) with medium exsertion (3-5 mm).

Boll: Size medium, 4-5 locked, ovate, wide at lower mid, with medium beak, finely pitted, gossypol normal, opening good. Bolls/plant 20-25, boll weight 3.4g, length 4.5, width 3.2, peduncle 1.5 cm, bracteole normal.

Yield kg/ha: Seed cotton 3000.0

Fiber: GOT 36.5%, Staple length 28.7 mm, Micronaire 4.6, Strength 30.2 g/tex 99.8 tppsi, Uniformity 49.5%.

Seed: Seed Index 8.0 g, size medium, length 8.0, width 5.0 mm, Seed fuzzy to semi-fuzzy, grayish white.

Leaf curl virus (CLCV): Tolerant.

Variants: Habit varies with space, sowing and stem damage.

Leading characters: NIAB 999 heat tolerant, medium tall growing variety with light green, medium dense foliage, flower nectaried, pollen color yellow, boll shape ovate with medium beak and medium maturity, boll opening good. Seed fuzzy to semi fuzzy, color grayish white.
