Growth habit: Semi spreading, medium early in maturity (180-200 days), stem-tip-hairiness profuse, pigmentation medium. Lodge resistant.

Height and branching: Medium height (110-120 cm), nodes to first fruiting branch 4-7, monopodia 0-3, sympodia 15-20, short to medium, semi-erect.

Foliage: Foliage medium dense, medium green, profusely hairy, and nectaried, leaf length 14.0, width 17.0, stalk 12.5 cm.

Flower: Flowering medium early and of medium duration. Flower medium, nectaried, creamy, with intermediate calyx, pollen creamy, stamen medium dense, and semi-erect, stigma height medium (10-15 mm) with medium exsertion (4-6 mm).

Boll: Size medium, 4-5 locked, roundish, wide at lower mid, beak short, finely pitted and gossypol normal, opening good. Bolls/plant 20-25, boll weight 3.5g, length 5.0, width 3.5, peduncle 1.5 cm, bracteole normal.

Yield kg/ha: Seed cotton 3000.0

Fiber: GOT 40.0%, Staple length 29.6 mm, Micronaire 4.4, Strength 97.3 tppsi, Uniformity 48.2%.

Seed: Seed Index 8.6g, size medium, length 8.2, width 4.7 mm. Seeds fuzzy to semi fuzzy, dusky white.

Leaf curl virus (CLCV): Tolerant.

Variants: Habit varies with space, sowing and stem damage.

Leading characters: CIM 499 heat tolerant, medium tall growing variety with medium to dense green foliage, flower nectaried, pollen color creamy, boll shape roundish with short beak and medium early in maturity, opening good. Seed fuzzy to semi fuzzy, color dusky white.
