The solution of majority of country’s problems is available in the development of agriculture, said Dr Iftikhar Ahmad Chairman Pakistan Agriculture Research Council (PARC) said addressing agricultural scientists’ community and employees at PARC on the occasion of farewell party in the honour of retired employees.
PARC is playing an important role for the promotion and development of agriculture sector in the country by introducing new varieties of major crops, horticultural crops, livestock and new innovations for farming communities with the close coordination of Provincial Public and Private Sector, national and international agriculture development agencies. Dr Ahmad appreciated the services of retired employees particularly scientists contribution towards achieving self-sufficiency in agriculture in the country. He said new innovation was a tool to promote agriculture to increase productivity. staff report
