The women entrepreneurs who have been trained by Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company (PGJDC), will be given due consideration by the First Women Bank Limited (FWBL) for granting loans under Prime Minister’s Youth Business Loan Scheme, said a statement issued by PGJDC, here on Wednesday.

The statement was issued after the conclusion of a meeting held between President First Women Bank Ltd (FWBL) Charmaine H. Hidayatullah and CEO PGJDC Bakhtiar Khan at PGJDC’s head office, here in Karachi. It was also decided that multiple seminars would be organised jointly by FWBL and PGJDC to create awareness among the women entrepreneurs specially who were trained by PGJDC’s training institutes.

Both the organisations had previously worked together on several projects for the empowerment and development of women. “We are very excited that the women entrepreneurs, who have trained at our centres and have acquired skills to design and manufacture of jewellery and gemstones will take maximum benefit of the Prime Minister’s Youth Business Loan Scheme,” said Bakhtiar Khan.-PR
