Water, power, agriculture sectors: KBP for convening APC to create national consensus

Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) Central President Sardar Zafar Hussein has proposed to convene an ‘All Parties Conference’ (APC) to create a national consensus to save the dying agricultural sector and for immediate construction of new dams to resolve the issues of water and power.

Sardar Zafar in an open letter to all the political, social leaders and the masses have alleged that unjustifiable long load shedding and high prices of diesel and electricity and lower rainfall had caused water shortage for the growers.
