Turkish firm visits PBIT in livestock, dairy sectors

A 3-member delegation of Turkish Firm Aytac Food, headed by Chairman Dursun Uyar has visited Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) and held talks with PBIT team about opportunities of foreign investment. CEO PBIT Javed Akbar highlighted the lucrative and profitable prospects for foreign investment in the province especially in livestock and dairy sectors. 

He told the delegation that Punjab government is highly committed to private sector development and is offering a pro-business environment with positive policy framework. PBIT kept promoting on a viable economic sector in the province and willing to offer every support and facilitation to the investors, who eager to start their businesses. CEO PBIT informed the global and local halal product markets are worth of US $3 trillion with growing sign of certified and hygienic livestock products. 

Speaking on the occasion, the head of Turkish delegation, Dursun Uyar told that their company is willing to invest in livestock and dairy sectors in the province and support the efforts of government to promote investment. He also appreciated the role of PBIT to bringing up investment. CEO PBIT Javed Akbar assured the delegation that Punjab government would provide all out support to initiate trade projects. He also informed the members of the delegation about the guidance and technical supports of PBIT to various other foreign companies.
