Punjab Minister for Agriculture Dr Farrukh Javed on Saturday made a surprise raid on fruit and vegetable market Kachha and expressed his displeasure over unhygienic conditions and heaps of garbage spreading in the market. He directed the administration of the market to ensure proper cleanliness within 48 hours besides provision of clean drinking water.
Dr Farrukh Javed also enquired from Arhtis and consumers of fruits and vegetables about the problems being faced by them. The Minister directed Project Director Tariq Mahmood and Director Haji Bashir to arrange provision of clean drinking water and facility of toilet within 10 days. He also directed for completion of roads in the market.
