Shahbaz urged to promote agriculture, livestock sectors

Agri Forum Pakistan (AFP) Chairman Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal has urged the Chief Minister Punjab to work with same spirit and dedication for agriculture, livestock and irrigation sectors, with which he worked for completion of metro bus project. He said our agricultural sector needs to improve its production by using latest knowledge and contemporary technology.

Talking to journalists on Monday, he alleged that production of wheat, cotton and rice fell during the current year due to criminal negligence and lethargy of the agricultural department. He claimed that the province would suffer a loss of Rs 120 billion due to less production of different major and minor crops. Ibrahim Mughal said that we had two million less bales of cotton against the target due to which exports have negative impact.
