Punjab Agricul-ture Department (PAD) has launched a crackdown against illegal sale of poisonous pills being used to save wheat and rice from insects. According to a spokesman of the PAD, sale of such pills is not allowed to any shop except the pesticide dealers approved by the provincial agriculture department.
