New water reservoirs: politicians urged to evolve consensus

Agri Forum Pakistan Chairman Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal has urged the political leadership to create consensus on building new water reservoirs and dams in the country just like they have sit together for their political interests. Talking to a select group of journalists here on Thursday, Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal wished that the political leadership should create consensus too on construction of Kalabagh dam, Kashmir issue, declaring India as Most Favoured Nation (MFN) and Indian water aggression against Pakistan. 

He said that the country was facing worst ever loadshedding of electricity, gas, water and other daily use items and all the political parties should sit together to suggest immediate solution of these issues. He said that increasing unemployment, price hike, law and order issue, absence of educational and health facilities had made the life of people miserable in the country and all the political parties should also develop consensus on method of resolving these problems. Agri Forum Pakistan Chief was of the view that construction of Kalabagh and other dams would save people from devastating impact of floods and also strengthen the economy through improvement in agriculture and help the nation to get rid of foreign loans.
