Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Jam Khan Shoro has expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of livestock department. He was presiding over a meeting of Animal Husbandry Sindh on Saturday. He said that due to poor planning in undemocratic governments of past, millions of rupees had been wasted.

He said that cattle colonies in Umerkot and Nuakot were constructed where basic facility of water was almost non-existent. Jam Khan said that an enquiry had already been initiated into the matter and those responsible for poor planning of Umerkot and Naukot cattle colonies would be dealt with according to law. He said that Korangi Cattle Farm once scattered at one thousand acres had now squeezed to only five hundred acres only because land grabbers had occupied the precious land. He maintained that market value of one acre land was more than 20 million.
