KBP appeals to vote for true representatives of growers

Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP) has appealed to the growers and all those attached with the farming sector to vote for true representatives of growers or those having farmer-friendly attitude in the coming general elections. It strongly appealed the growers not to cast their vote to corrupt and plunderers of national wealth and public money.

KBP made this appeal at a meeting of the Central General Council meeting held here on Friday with KBP Central President Sardar Zafar Hussein Khan. The meeting was participated by provincial presidents and general secretaries of the Board. In the meeting they discussed in detail problems faced by the farming sector.

It urged the government to give special incentives on agricultural inputs to the growers and fix flat rate of electricity for whole of the country for agricultural tube wells as is followed in Balochistan. The meeting also called for taking measures to stop canal water pilferage ensuring availability of water at the tail of canals.
