International livestock, dairy congress begins from today

Pakistan Veterinary Medical Association and Livestock and Dairy Development Department Punjab is holding a two-day ‘international livestock, dairy and poultry’ congress in Lahore from April 17-18. The objective of this congress is to ensure food security and promote livestock and poultry industry in the country. 

The 300 national and international experts will be participated in the congress. Different stakeholders, academia, scientists, poultry farmers, medicine companies, NGOs and others attached with livestock, dairy and poultry sectors will attend the two days proceedings. The organisers claimed that international investors have also been invited which would enhance the national resources and it will prove a milestone for guidance to the livestock department and dairy and poultry farmers.
