Indus, Kabul rivers in low flood

The Indus River at Kalabagh and Chashma barrage and the River Kabul at Nowshera, are in low flood while all the other major rivers are flowing in the state of their normal flow, Flood Warning Centre said here on Friday. It said 253600 cusecs water is running into the Kalabagh barrage and 283000 cusecs in Chashma barrage on the River Indus. The flow in the downstream barrages is: Taunsa 216000 cusecs, Guddu 167800 cusecs, Sukkur 112600 cusecs and Kotri 55001 cusecs. 

MET OFFICE WEATHER FORECAST TODAY Seasonal low lies over north-west Balochistan and adjoining areas. Weak monsoon currents are reaching into southern & eastern parts of the country. Scattered thunderstorm/rain is expected over Kashmir, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Lahore divisions. Isolated thunderstorm/rain is expected over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South Punjab, Northeast Balochistan, Southeast Sindh along with Sargodha and Faisalabad divisions. Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country.
