Growers should cultivate winter vegetables on time

Growers of rain-crop areas should remove weeds to prepare their fields for incoming Rabi crops, the met office has advised. The office in its advisory said the growers should cultivate winter vegetables in time so that present soil moisture may be utilised, fully. It forecast mainly dry weather in most parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakkhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan in the next 10 days. 

It said weather in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir is also expected to remain mainly dry in most parts. However, it forecast light rain may fall at isolated places of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan by the mid of next week.
