A draw for green tractors distribution under the Green Tractor Scheme of the Punjab government was held at Multan Arts Council here on Monday. Punjab Minister for Zakat-o-Ushr Malik Nadeem Kamran and Punjab Auqaf Minister Haji Ehsan uddin Qureshi distributed the tractors keys among the 148 farmer who won the balloting. A large number of farmers attended this function. Meanwhile, balloting for 490 green tractors was held at Government
College Muzaffargarh. District Co-ordination Officer Abrar Ahmed Mughal was the chief guest. Total 1,026 applications were received by the concerned department. Of them 500 applicants were women. Total 490 tractors were distributed among the farmers of Muzaffargarh district. Of them 180 in Muzaffargarh tehsil, 152 in Kot addu, 73 in Alipur and 85 in Jatoi. 65 females also received the keys of tractors.
