Federal government was exploiting the farmers of southern Punjab by sending them inflated electricity bill and increasing the price of High Speed Diesel, said Punjab Agricultural Minister Ahmed Ali Aulakh while addressing a key distribution under green tractor scheme in Bahauddin Zakariya University here on Monday.
He said rulers were giving lollypop of southern Punjab province to the people of this zone while in fact they destroying them by increasing power tariff and POL prices. They made their life miserable. The Minister said Pakistan was an agricultural country but federal government did nothing for the betterment of this sector, and warned that Pakistan would have to face food security in the coming day if anti-agriculture policies continued.
