The prices of gold on Monday went up by Rs 700 per tola to Rs 52,200 on the local market, traders say. The price of gold per 10 grams also surged by Rs 600 to Rs 44,742, traders say, adding the yellow metal was cited at $1318 an ounce on the world market.
