Gold prices on Saturday soared by Rs 950 per tola to Rs 47, 500 on the local market, traders said. The price of gold per 10-gram went up by Rs 814 to Rs 40, 714. The price of yellow metal on the global market was $1, 236 an ounce up by $36 an ounce, according to traders.
