Daily trading report of PMEX- Feb

Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) witnessed slight correction on Friday as total value of trade declined by 3 per cent to PKR4,219 million from PKR4,345 million recorded on Thursday. However, number of lots traded went up to 17,074 from 14,904. PMEX Commodity Index also eroded by 0.07 per cent to 3,154. 

Major business was contributed by gold amounting PKR2,861 million, followed by crude oil (PKR1,227 million) and silver (PKR127 million). The largest increase of 63 per cent was registered in gold volume to PKR2,861 million from PKR1,757 million. As against this there was 51 per cent decline in crude oil volume recorded at PKR1,227 million from PKR2,499 million.
