The five-day workshop on National Beekeeping Training has concluded here on Friday. PU Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Liaqat Ali, Chairman Zoology Department Professor Dr Muhammad Akhter, Dr Nasreen Muzaffar, officials from provincials and federal departments, Army officers, faculty members, researchers from all the provinces and a large number of students participated in the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr Liaqat Ali said that it was the matter of pride and pleasure that the participant had learnt theoretical and practical knowledge through this workshop on honey-bee farming. Highlighted the importance of bees flora and wildlife, the researchers said that bees farming should be promoted in the country.
