Special Secretary Agriculture Punjab Syed Rizwan Mehboob has directed the secretaries of all the market committees across the province to remain present at the time of auction of agricultural commodities and issue rate lists with their signatures. While presiding over a meeting here on Friday, he said that administrators should ensure provision of rate list to DCOs offices at 8:00 am and then also ensure its display by the fruit and vegetable sellers at their shops at prominent place.
He also advised them to completely monitor every auction in their respective markets and prepare separate registers for maintaining record of daily auctioning and commodities coming to the markets.
