A two-day Agricultural Engineers’ Moot jointly organised by Pakistan Agricultural Society (PSAE) and Faculty of Agricultural Engineering & Technology kicked off on Friday at UAF campus. On the first day PSAE Business Meeting was held at New Senate Hall. Engineer Mushtaq Ahmad Gill, President of PAES, chaired the meeting.
Matters relating to amendments in constitution, establishment of PSAE headquarter, launching of society’s website and monthly newsletter and other issues were discussed in the meeting.
An international seminar on “Prospects Development and Utilisation of Alternate Energy in Pakistan” would be held on December 15, at Iqbal Auditorium University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Inaugural session would be attended by distinguished guests from various walks of life. Vice Chancellor Sindh Agriculture, University Tandojam, Dr A Q Mughal and Vice Chancellor UET Taxila Dr M Abbas Chaudhary will also attend the event. An Agricultural Machinery Exhibition would also be held on this occasion. In International seminar mechanism of alternative energy would be discussed in order to solve the energy crises.
