Pakistan Poultry Association (PPA) arranged a special session for media on the second day of International Poultry Exhibition (IPEX) 2015 here on Friday to create awareness among journalists about benefits of chicken meat. Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Ijaz A Mumtaz also visited the IPEX 2015 on second day along with an 18-member delegation.
While speaking on the occasion PPA Chairman Dr Mustafa Kamal said that chicken meat is in line with principles of hygiene and the association would soon be arranging seminars and trainings for removing the doubts being found amongst the masses regarding chicken meat. He urged the government to provide subsidy to the poultry sector so as it continue serving the people by providing protein.
Journalist Mujeebur Rehman Shami in media session termed the IPEX as a good platform providing information to the masses about chicken meat. He said this expo would also help improving the economy of the country. LCCI chief in his address said that his chamber would continue playing role for resolving the issues being faced by the business community.
