Dar discusses issues faced by farmers

Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Tuesday chaired a meeting to discuss the issues and difficulties being faced by the farmers’ community in the country. The meeting which was also attended by the Minister for Food Security, Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan and senior officials of the Ministries of Finance and Food Security, had detailed deliberations on problems of farmers in the wake of falling prices of commodities in the domestic and international market. The Finance Minister gave instructions for preparing recommendations for helping the farmers’ community which would be submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration.
