On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5,770 million. The number of lots traded was 6.914 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,422. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 3,211 million followed by gold (PKR 2,392 million), silver (PKR 165 million) and cotton (PKR 1.9 million).
