On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 59,583 million. The number of lots traded was 334.52 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,441. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 54,539 million. This was followed by crude oil (PKR 4,914 million), silver (PKR 126 million) and cotton (PKR 4.42 million).
