On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 21,098 million. The number of lots traded was 116.362 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,491.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 19,012 million. This was followed by crude oil (PKR 2,013 million), silver (PKR 70.71 million) and cotton (PKR 2.40 million).
