On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5,812 million. The number of lots traded was 7.32 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,523. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 4,365 million. This was followed by gold (PKR 1,423 million), silver (PKR 22.5 million) and cotton (PKR 2.62 million).
