On Friday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 11,277 million. The number of lots traded was 14.02 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,503. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6,712 million. This was followed by crude oil (PKR 4,376 million), silver (PKR 186.88 million) and cotton (PKR 1.64 million).
