Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) supported and participated in a two-day International Khairpur Dates Festival & Seminar (seventh edition) held from August 22-23 at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Open Air Theatre, Khairpur. According to a TDAP press release, in this event, 60 local growers of dates and exporters set up their stalls, which was organised by the District Management of Khairpur.
The Chief Minister Sindh inaugurated the event on August 22, and visited all stalls. He visited the stall of TDAP and appreciated the TDAP for its role in seventh International Khairpur Dates Festival & Seminar. After the inauguration, a seminar was held at Qazi Hall II at Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur on “Potential of Dates”. At the end of seminar, TDAP was given shield by CM Sindh in the appreciation of its efforts.
TDAP has played a vital role by providing the market information to exhibitors of the event and informed them about the main activities and methods which may help them to export in different markets with high rates. TDAP has been taking efforts to exploit the potential of product by supporting the efforts of diversification of markets for the product by sending the delegations to different markets.-PR
