The name of the Metropolitan Steel Corporation Limited will be shifted from the “Defaulters’ Segment” to “Normal Counter” of the Exchange and simultaneously trading in its shares will also be resumed with effect from Monday, June 10, according to the notice issued by Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Friday.
Earlier, Metropolitan Steel Corporation Limited was placed in the Defaulters’ Segment and trading in its shares was suspended under Listing Regulation No 30(1)(b) ie failed to hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for two years ie for the year ended June 30, 2011 and June 30, 2012. The company has already held the AGM for the year ended June 30, 2011 and notice of AGM for the year ended June 30, 2012 has been published/notified in the newspapers and also notified by the Exchange vide Notice No KSE/N-3417 dated June 6, 2013.
