Agri Forum Pakistan (AFP) Chairman, Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal has claimed that recent wave of terrorist activities in the country are designed just to warn China to refrain from building motorways, road network, rail track, developing Gwadar or dams much needed by Pakistan.
Talking to media persons here on Monday, Mughal said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to China had disturbed US, India and Israel. He stated that if China is invited it could built 10 big dams on Built-Operate basis in next five years which would help generating 25,000 mega watt of electricity. Pakistan could also export power worth US $10 billion after meeting its domestic requirements thus resolving its economic issues, he claimed.
Mughal said construction of Gwadar dam would pace up economic activities in the country. He said lying of new railway track with the help of China would introduce new and fast means of transportation and journey thus making country hub of economic activities.
