German salt and fertiliser company K+S is examining prospects for takeovers and the development of mines in Australia and Asia, a German newspaper reported on Sunday, citing a company spokesman.
“We are exploring possibilities to better develop the market in the Asia-Pacific region,” the spokesman told the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, in a report released ahead of publication on Monday.
